• State the issue.
• Thesis sentence contains three essential parts:

o Followed by second supportive reason (This reason will be the main idea of your second body paragraph)

1st BODY PARAGRAPH

State the first supportive reason you mention after the claim portion of your  thesis.

• Elaborate on this reason. Give at least two or three supportive details that explain and further clarify reason number one from your thesis.
• Add a transition sentence that will bridge reason one with reason two.

2nd BODY PARAGRAPH

• Elaborate on this reason. Give at least two or three supportive details  that explain and further clarify reason number two from your thesis.
• You can include a concession here that will transition to your closing, but remember, if you acknowledge the other side, it needs to be brief  and immediately refuted.

CLOSING PARAGRAPH

• CONCESSION – You can include a concession here that will transition to your closing, but remember, if you acknowledge the other side, it needs to be brief and be immediately refuted by your call to action.
• Call to Action – persuade the audience to take ACTION in favor of your claim.
